Brian Gregory, Born in Dublin 1990 has had an interest in art and design from an early age. After graduation from secondary school Brian studied Model making and sculpture at Ballyfermot College in Dublin where his work was exhibited as part of the end of year showcase. During his time in Ballyfermot College of Further Education Brian became interested in Print, Photography and Sculpture. Brian recently graduated with a BAFA - B.A. Honours Degree in Fine Art Printmaking from Limerick School of Art and Design. He has also attended workshops by renowned artists such as Morgan Doyle and Will St. Ledger and was the principal art teacher to under privileged boys in Pennsylvania, U.S.A. Brian’s work has been influenced by the works of such renowned artists as Victor Sloan, Annette Messager, Nan Gouldin, Richard Billigham. He feels that art as a medium has the potential to make powerful social and political statements and in doing so can evoke the critical thinker within. The hypothesis of inducing thoughts from a multidimensional perspective that over come subjectivity drive Brian’s quest in visual art.
